New Education Centre planned for Summer 2007 |

A New Education Centre is planned to open in Summer 2007. The new facility will enhance the existing tours for customers and various education groups. There will be a series of interactive workshops and practical displays to help encourage the recycling message and to explain the concept and practical aspects of recycling.
The new site visit encompasses an additionnal tour of the plasterboard and gypsum waste recycling facility, the new biomass powerplant (under constrcution) which will be processing non hazardous waste wood and the new trade waste recycling centre. The existing tour presently view's the composting site, the construction & demolition recycling plant, the commingled Materials Recycling Facility and the Agricultural Waste Recycling Department.
