To help all parties and to simplify the process we suggest segregation into the following general categories:-
Stream 1:- Light Plastics
- Silage Wrap
- Small feed and fertiliser bags
- Sawdust Bags
- Plastic packaging
- Shrink Wrap
- Pallet covers
Please ensure all bags are empty and dry and free from mud and residue. Bundle together for storage and transportation.
Stream 2:- Woven Polypropylene
- Bulk Fertiliser Bags
- Feed Bags
- Seed Bags
These Bags must be free of residue and the liners can be left in situ. Bundle together for storage and transportation.
Stream 3:- Containers – Hard Plastics
- Herbicide & Pesticide Containers
- Dairy Wash Drums
- Detergent Bottles
- Feed Lick Buckets
ALL CONTAINERS MUST BE TRIPLE RINSED AND DRY. Please remove any
metal handles. Please also remove any tops and keep separate. They can
still be recycled in the same waste stream. Compact by using a forklift
bucket or a heavy bag of sand – the containers must be free of mud and
dry. Please note we DO NOT ACCEPT any shredded materials.
Stream 4:- Non-Recyclable Waste
- Net Wrap
- String
- General Waste
Please bag or bundle up non recyclable waste and where possible keep dry as this will reduce weight etc.
Stream 5:- Crop Cover
All crop cover must be kept separate by type i.e. black, clear or
fleece and we will not accept mixed loads. It is important to keep the
waste as clean as possible, however we do understand it is
extremely difficult to strip crop cover off a field without a certain
amount of contamination – our reprocessing plant can accept up to 20%
contamination on crop cover of mud, moisture and straw. If you have
circumstances where you have higher levels of contamination please
contact us direct on 0800 310 1815.
PLEASE NOTE: - DO NOT MIX HAZARDOUS / SPECIAL WASTES and RECYCLABLE WASTES.
