Mid-UK Recycling require a time served Mechanical Supervisor to carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities on a range of equipment utilised within the recycling industry.

Established in 1997, Mid UK Recycling Ltd is an expanding family business working within the Recycling and Waste Industry. We are passionate about producing high quality renewable fuels from the waste we receive.
Main Duties:
To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved Company safety policies & processes and other relevant legislation is followed. To ensure compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
To lead and supervise mechanical repair and maintenance skills including fault identification and analysis to facilitate repairs, improvements, inspections, adjustments and refurbishments to agreed standards.
With support from Workshops maintenance administration, compile and maintain mechanical maintenance work schedules and records for statutory and best practise inspection, including LOLER, PSSR, etc.
Actively support the development of maintenance inspections, repair techniques and engineering standards through the carryout of FMEA, RCFA, bad actor identification, etc. work led by the Workshop Manager.

Applicants must be enthusiastic and self-motivated. The right candidate will ideally have previous experience of mechanical fitting in industrial complexes, waste management, scrap metal processing or other heavy continuous environments.
