At our Caythorpe site we have developed an advanced process for the cleaning of recycled glass. This is where we process the glass which has been extracted at our MRFs, from the kerbside commingled and dry mixed recycling waste.

The glass is cleaned and screened to remove any impurities then graded by size.

This process enables us to maximise the recycling potential for all the glass we produce. The low quality recycled glass can be utilised in the aggregate sector and the higher quality recycled glass can be reprocessed into new glass products.
